Stephen Kille Comment On Regulatory Notice 22-08

Inverse funds and leveraged funds are a valuable investment tool for Americans. I use them frequently. I am capable of educating myself. I fired my stock broker after he lost my money back in the bull market of the 1990s, and have been making my own investment decisions since that time. I fear government regulations are ever-expanding and will continue to restrict our rights. I oppose any restrictions on my rights to invest.

Shannon Severin Comment On Regulatory Notice 22-08

HI, I have been a private investor for over 30 years starting when I was in the 6th grade. I am a huge proponent of freedom and self-education. I believe that the general public should have a right to invest in the same funds as the privileged without having any required tests or special processes which only serve as roadblocks to wealth creation. I am capable of making my own decisions when it comes to investing. Leveraged and inverse funds are a large portion of my investment portfolio.

Nicholas Bodine Comment On Regulatory Notice 22-08

People should have the right to freely invest their own money in public investments without government interference. Part of living in a supposedly free country is the right to do as we please with our own money and this includes making mistakes. Imposing tests, wealth checks, and forcing you to go through a broker is closing off these opportunities to all but the wealthy and the privileged, and forcing a cooling off period can cause investors to miss opportunities. At some point they stop being "public" investments.
