To Whom It May Concern:
This is an absurd overreach. Leverage is a crucial part of optimal investing strategies and I find that leveraged funds are the best way for me to access it without paying usurious margin loan rates and/or exposing myself to a potential margin call.
No government entity should ever restrict their citizens, unless criminal. Otherwise it's just bureaucracy grows and corruption possibilities.
I and all my investment peers are experienced investors with many years of work in the market. Government interference will hinder our ability to make use of many of the tools available to investors by financial institutions. We do not need, and do not want, the hand of government in our finances. Thank you.
Any idiot can get married or conceive a child without a test so this regulation represents nothing more than bureaucratic over reach.
With all due respect keep your hands off my rights, my money, and my investments. I am perfectly capable of making my own decisions. I don't need a government nanny to protect me.
I strongly oppose any restrictions to my investment choices
I want to comment regarding proposed restrictions on "complex" investment products. I 100% think disclosures should be provided regarding "complex products" but I do not think it is FINRA's job to be my mother and decide what I can, and what I cannot invest in. I am an adult, and I should be able to choose what I invest in, and I alone should bear the consequences of my decision.
I disagree with this proposal. This proposal pretends to help retail investors but only helps institutional investors. Stop making the markets unfair.
Sirs, In response to your considering controlling my ability to invest in leveraged and inverse funds I believe I should be the one who chooses the right investments for me and my family and all puerile should have access to such investments. I've been using such investments for years and without them would never have been able to retire safely. Removing this type of investment from all people makes the playing field not level for those who are not rich. It is unfair and inappropriate for others to decide what is best for new and my family. How can a repair know what's right for me.
