I use leveraged products from Proshares and Direxion as part of my portfolio.
I have read, understood the prospectus and know they behave as expected (by simulating and backtesting over flat/medium/extreme market or different timeframe scenarios).
They deliver asymetric risk profiles that are great tools to enhance returns and limit losses, if managed responsibly.

I should be able to choose the public investments that are right for you and your family. Public investments should be available to all of the public, not just the privileged. Leveraged and inverse funds are important to your investment strategies.

Let people invest in this even if it's silly. I don't know why anyone would take it away. That's not freedom.

I oppose restrictions to my right to invest. As long as the fund clearly inform the investors how it works, the risk is up to the investors, not to the regulators.

It is ridiculous to stop us from purchasing these types of securities. Every investor should have the right to invest in any products they deem worthy. That is why it is called capital risk. We all understand not every security is safe and we consider those risks.

I've used leveraged and inverse ETFs for decades now with no issues and I strongly oppose restriction of their use. If you are going to start choosing what public investments can and can not be made by individual investors, you will have to lay out a clear rationale for each decision and that will highly likely be perceived as arbitrary leading to multiple issues for you. If your goal is to restrict shorting, you are just setting yourself up for massive legal battles. If your concern is truly protecting investors, there are far better targets than inverse ETFs.
