Hello FINRA, Leveraged and inverse funds are important to my investment strategy. For example in a downward market trend (Q1 2022) I am able to invest in an inverse leveraged fund (e.g., SQQQ) to mitigate downside risk associated with my individual stock NASDAQ investments. As my individual NASDAQ investments declined the loss was offset by my investment in SQQQ. This helped me protect (hedge) my investments and enhanced my annual returns. Therefore, I believe I should be able to choose the public investments that are right for me and my family.
Dear regulators; Please refrain from increasing your restrictions on my freedom to play the market any which way I choose. You do not need to know if I'm able to invest in any product, just as you have no right to dictate to another their freedoms. That is called slavery. I trade from time to time in inverse funds as it's the only way I'm able to fight the corruption of you and your market participants. Thank you.
Leveraged and inverse funds are important to my investment. Investors should have freedom to choose any investment vehicle.
I oppose rule #S7-24-15 as it should be up to the public, not regulators to decide what investments suit them and their risk tolerance. We are capable of understanding leveraged funds and their risks, and regulators do not need to impose processes that treat us as though we are incapable.
Investing in Leveraged and inverse ETFs and Mutual Funds is a low cost way for the average investor to invest like the big hedge funds. There are plenty of warnings on the volitility and dangers of leveraged investments. Please err on the side of freedom, and allow us all to have this valuable investment option. Joe Mess [REDACTED]
Do NOT restrict investments in leveraged and inverse funds.
I shouldn't have to go through any special process like passing a test before I can invest in public securities, like leveraged and inverse funds. I am capable of understanding leveraged and inverse funds and their risks. I do not need these measures imposed on me.
As a grown-up responsible adult I should have the right to choose whatever Investments I desire and willing to take a risk on. This is the United States of America.
I am oppose limitations on your ability to buy the Funds
