Ronak Vaidya Comment On Regulatory Notice 22-08

To whom it may concern, I have used leveraged and inverse funds within the past two years in time of high volatility to hedge against my portfolio. If the instruments are taken away from us, and allowed for use for only to special personnel then my right to choose my investments is essentially taken away. I understand that there are risks involved with the use of leveraged and inverse funds, however, in the times of volatility, risks are also involved with purchasing single stocks as well.

Craig Boyer Comment On Regulatory Notice 22-08

I strongly oppose restrictions of investors to be limited to leveraged and inverse funds, as these type of investments permit investors to property balance, diversify and limit risk to their portfolio in all types bear and bull markets by sector. Without these type funds, our investment opportunities will be limited. It also defeats the need and desire to learn and understand financial markets and products.

Michael Dew Comment On Regulatory Notice 22-08

In times of extreme volatility, leveraged funds serve an important function in the management of my retirement assets. They do not consume many dollars, yet because of their enhanced status protect the downside of my non-leveraged funds. Were they to be restricted or disallowed, I would be forced to completely exit the market, and my retirement accounts would soon be rendered useless, ravaged by inflation.
