Karen Ford Comment On Regulatory Notice 22-08

I believe I should be able to choose the public investments that are right for me and my family, not FINRA. Public Investments should be available to all of the public, not just the privileged few. I shouldn't have to go through any special process or pass a test before I can invest in leveraged and inverse funds, as I am capable of understanding the risks. These funds are important to my investment strategies, as they help protect (hedge) my investments.

Timothy Hutchins Comment On Regulatory Notice 22-08

Inverse and leveraged funds are an important part of the market as it allows retail investors like myself to take part in products that are normally not available to us. The ability to hedge against certain products, market segments, or scenarios should not be limited by a regulatory body. I agree the complexity of these funds and their risks should be well understood by anyone who invests in these funds, but that is the responsibility of the investor himself and not the regulatory body.

Alexa Serrato Comment On Regulatory Notice 22-08

I oppose the regulations and restrictions that are being considered on my ability to invest my own money as I choose. I currently choose to invest in leveraged funds as a small percent of my portfolio and I should be able to continue to do so.

I do not want a regulator-imposed test to be required. I understand the transactions that I am making in my own accounts, but I worry that intentionally confusingly worded questions will keep certain people out.

Justin Hegg Comment On Regulatory Notice 22-08

I run a systematic quarterly rebalancing plan that is powered by leveraged ETFs. I know what I am doing. The proper use of these leveraged products is a key part of my financial plan.

These funds are important to me. They improve my performance over the long term. I am not engaged in reckless trading, I understand the effect of daily magnification of an indexs price movement, and I use this magnification to my advantage.

I do not want a third party evaluating my capability of managing these funds, and certainly do not want one preventing me from buying them.
