As an stock market investor for many years, I have invested in a broad range of products including leveraged and inverse funds. I am well aware of the additional risks when added to my stock portfolio. Having the continued right to choose these products maintains my freedom to invest in public securities. Today, I use ETFs as a hedge in these volatile markets. I hedge to enhance my returns during this correction where a broad decline in stock prices commences.

I should have the freedom to make my own decisions and take full responsibility. I cannot accept these measures you are proposing. Do not treat me like I cannot be responsible. Do not fall back on old outdated rules/laws/thinking. I'm tired of government inserting itself into my life unnecessarily. Please give me the room and respect to make these decisions for myself without interfering.

I have been investing in the stock market for more than twenty-five years. When I invested in individual securities in my early investment years, I wasn't successful at all. After switching to the first ETF, then only leveraged ETFs, my success in investment improved drastically. Eliminating the leveraged ETFs from the choices of investment vehicles is the wrong decision. If the leveraged ETFs are volatile, how about the individual securities, mutual funds, and options.

I want to maintain my current freedom to invest in public securities of my choise.

Please don't super regulate a public security already approved by the SEC. This is a violation of my right to free choice. I could see your interference if I could take advantage of someone or the reverse, but simply put, you are trying to save me from myself. I don't need a bureaucrat deciding what I should or should not buy, especially when it comes to choosing securities.

Liberty and freedom are precious rights, I take them very seriously.
