Series 63 – Uniform Securities Agent State Law Exam

The Series 63 exam — the Uniform Securities State Law Examination — is a North American Securities Administrators Association (NASAA) exam administered by FINRA.

The exam consists of 60 scored questions. Candidates have 75 minutes to complete the exam. In order for a candidate to pass the Series 63 exam, he/she must correctly answer at least 43 of the 60 scored questions.

SECURE Act
NASAA is in the process of updating questions on the Series 63, 65, and 66 exams in light of the recently enacted SECURE Act. Currently, questions on the exam have not been modified and are based on the status of the law as of 12/31/2019. NASAA will update this website when it has completed its review, made any necessary changes, and has a planned switchover date.
