Dear FINRA regulators,
I think you have a very difficult task with balancing the need for fairness in securities markets while making sure that bad actors do not prey on unsuspecting individual investors.
I think it is fair to say that leveraged products should not be an investors first choice as a core portfolio product, but I've noticed that many seasoned investors, such as Bill Miller
I find it troubling that regulatory agencies would limit my ability to use cryptocurrency for the advancement of my personal financial future. It would be a miscarriage of justice to limit individual liberty by not allowing or limiting my ability to invest in Cryptocurrency. Also why not focus on hedge funds and big banks commiting fraud by shorting different crypto assets to profit themselves
As an investor who uses inverse funds in my portfolio, I am opposed to any restrictions on my rights to invest in these public investment. I do not want or need these restrictions placed on me or my family. With current market conditions and outlook, now seems an especially bad time to implement these un-needed restrictions.
To Regulators,
Restricting investments to people who do not meet your income or asset requirements is again a way to try to control the average retail investor. Just because you think you are doing something good by preventing average investors for making risking decisions that may or may not result in profitable outcomes does not mean you are doing something that is right. I Oppose any/ all regulation on crypto!!
Restricting investments for individuals in any publicly traded security or fund/ETF should be forbidden. Who are the regulators that seem to think that they get to play "God" with my money. Exchange traded funds/ETF's, stocks all go thru rigorous disclosure requirements and clearly indicate there is "risk" of loss when investing. This is clearly
Leveraged funds have performed the best for my portfolio. I have literally quadrupled my money that was put into UCO and HZOZF(which I can no longer buy due to new regulations) by holding them both longer than a year, not day trading them as they are apparently designed for. Let the adults make adult decisions about their own money.
I strongly oppose any restrictions on my right to decide what I can and cannot invest in. I currently invest in 2X or 3X products, both bullish and bearish. I am a grown adult, with 30 years of experience in the markets and do not need additional protection from regulators. I take personal responsibility for my decisions and would prefer that you leave me alone to invest how I prefer. I find
I not regulators should be able to choose the public
investments that are right for me and my family.
Public investments should be available to all of the public,
not just the privileged. Likewise, government should not have the right to force people into investing if they dont want to invest. Who will pay more attention to their own money but the owner.
I shouldn't
Please STOP attempts to introduce regulation FINRA Regulatory Notice #22-08.
I consider it an insult to us the public, to propose this regulation under the pretense of "protection" like we are children, when in reality this is another subvert attempt to manipulate the market and make it even more exclusive.
I live in reservation territory, and it is hard enough for us to
