(a) Each member shall designate an associated person who shall be responsible for each general ledger bookkeeping account and account of like function used by the member and such associated person shall control and oversee entries into each such account and shall determine that the account is current and accurate as necessary to comply with all applicable FINRA rules and federal securities laws

(a) Applicability of Rule
A claimant may request default proceedings against any respondent that falls within one of the following categories and fails to file an answer within the time provided by the Code:
(1) A member whose membership has been terminated, suspended, canceled, or revoked;
(2) A member that has been expelled or barred from FINRA;

The OATS Rules require member firms to report to FINRA order information for Nasdaq-listed equity securities and OTC equity securities. Initial public offerings (IPOs), secondary offerings, Direct Participation Programs (DPPs), "restricted securities", as defined by SEC Rule 144(a)(3) under the Securities Act of 1933, and any securities designated in the PORTAL Market are not reportable to OATS.
TRACE Usage Reporting Policy
Pursuant to FINRA Rule 4521, FINRA member firms carrying margin accounts for customers are required to submit the following customer information: the total of all debit balances in securities margin accounts; and, the total of all free credit balances in all cash accounts and all securities margin accounts.
