TRAQS TRACE Reporting Enhancements

January 27, 2017

On Monday, March 20, 2017, FINRA will implement enhancements to the secure FINRA TRAQS Website for TRACE Corporate and Agency and Securitized Products trade reporting. These enhancements have been created as a result of client feedback and are geared to give TRAQS users the ability to maximize their management of multiple transaction submissions within TRAQS via a new Multi Entry screen and a Recall Last transaction function.

In addition to the transaction throughput enhancements, FINRA will also be updating the TRAQS website with the following changes as a result of the CMO Dissemination software release, which will also go live on March 20, 2017.

  • Removed Fitch Rating from Market Aggregates (Market Close) Screen (Corporate and Agency only)
  • Added Convertible Flag to the Daily List (Security: Additions, Deletions, Changes) and to the Security Scan (Corporate and Agency only)
  • Added CMO Periodic Report Screens (Securitized Products only)
  • CMO and CMO 144A trades < 1 Million will be displayed in the Time and Sales screen (Securitized Products only)
  • Added First Settlement Date to Security Scan and Daily List (Securitized Products only)

FINRA has updated the TRAQS Corporate and Agency and Securitized Products User Guides in conjunction with these enhancements.  A revision table of changes is included within each document.

TRACE TRAQS Quick Reference Guides

FINRA has created a Quick Reference Guide to assist TRAQS users’ understanding of the Multi Entry screen and Recall Last transaction functions without having to page through the entire User Guide documents.

Note: Existing TRACE trade entry screens will continue to be available for single trade submission.
