What gives regulators the right to Steal people's hard earned money from their investments and excessively taxing them after having years of freely using our money to their advantage
I believe it's each investors responsibility to understand risk of their investment and each institution to provide investment vehicle. It's regulators' responsibility to ensure investment institutions to disclose risk information properly so that individual investors understand the risk they are take. But it's wrong for the government to put regulation in place to limit/eliminate "regulator-perceived" risky assets. Doing so means intentionally creating "financial" injustice/unfair environment.
You should do more to educate people on our modern financial system instead of taking away their ability to invest how they see fit. It's not your concern how or why I invest my money. If Nancy Pelosi and other politicians can participate in stock market trades all while making laws that affect company stock price, then I should be able to decide how I want to invest my dollar.
Do you self a favour and mind your own business.
No reason to tax something that is not talking away from the old box style money generated funds like stock market. As it does not take away from Big Federal Government. Keep your hands off [REDACTED].
In today's investment world, it is more important than ever that sufficient regulation and enforcement exists such that the most vulnerable members of the public will be protected from the most unscrupulous of brokers. If an individual lacks the knowledge necessary to explain an investment and why it is a suitable product for them, they shouldn't be allowed to buy it.
With the markets crashing, we need an alternative. Crypto is that alternative. More so "Altcoins". Bitcoin will crash, the altcoins will provide a solution for the 99% that need it. We are at the greatest transfer of wealth in the history of the world.
Reference FINRA notice to restrict trading opportunities. This is NOT Russia or China, this is the United States of America! Restricting investments that have been in the public for 10 years with no major problems is more than an overreach. It is uncalled for. Investors have already qualified for the ability to make our own decisions. Investors do not need more restrictions, we need more opportunities! Please get on our team!
