I oppose restrictions to my right to invest. it is my money!!!!!!
I don't oppose some regs on crypto, but not so harsh as to make it difficult to invest after proper disclosure about risks involved.
The most effective form of government is the government that governs the least. With every additional bit of regulation, the regulations that matter become more diluted. Tread lightly, choose wisely ladies and gentlemen, especially when it comes to telling the populus where and how it may utilize it's monetary assets. If you didn't put in the work to acquire the earnings, how can you justify telling me how I spend them??
These recent weeks are en excellent example of why inverse funds should NOT be limited. Retail Investors like me who do their homework but have less access to sophisticated hedging strategies and expensive market research are able to use many these funds to protect ourselves. For example, I put on small positions in several unlevered inverse funds, reduced long positions, and have ridden out this storm basically flat while many of my friends with fee-collecting pro advisors and money managers have had large drawdowns.
i want to voice my opinion that i am against any move to restrict my ability to buy and sell shares in "complex products" or any other funds or financial instruments.
Whereas Federal bureaucrats ought not restrict the rights of citizens to participate freely in financial markets,
whereas I, not distant technocrats to whom I am a mere data point, ought to choose which investments are correct for me and my current investing situation / strategy,
whereas I should be able to access any investment or type of publicly traded security without capricious and arbitrary restrictions imposed, including but not limited to having to pass a knowledge or means based test before being deemed worthy to use a particular investment strategy,
I oppose restrictions to my right to invest in public investments. I should be able to choose the type of investments that are right for me because I understand leveraged and inverse funds and they are important to my investment strategies. I am opposed to any restrictions and special requirements or processes before I can invest in public securities
I believe that any restrictions on inverse or leveraged ETFs would result in an inability for investors to hedge the risks to their portfolios that are inherent in the market.
I use such ETFs myself and find them to be a very useful tool in implementing my investment strategies.
Please do not take away my ability to purchase leverage and inverse funds. I have many of these and have invested in them for many years. They have helped me protect my retirement investments. If you can allow all of these young kids to invest in Meme stocks via Robinhood, then why in the world would you restrict us old folks from investing in whatever we want?
Everything you are doing is against the constitution, you know it, you are not our rulers, you do not get to decide these things for us, we say no, we do not comply, we are done paying for your bribes, underground facilities, war operations, and everything else, government should be very small and for the people not you, stop immediately because I tell you right now, we will treat you like Disney, you saw what we did to them, we will do it to you too plus remove you from office. [REDACTED] Start siding with the people if you dont, we will remove you. We the people are done.
