Ive used leveraged and inverse funds, as well as options on them, as a retail investor for years and I intend to continue doing so.

I strongly oppose regulators adding restrictions, making it difficult for investors to make their own investment choices. It is investorss decision in terms of how much risk they are willing to take and how they would like to invest their money. Please treat investors as adults and respect them as adults.
I have a long time horizon and fully understand the risks involved in these products but they also provide me substantial return enhancement at relatively low cost. This is especially important in a projected long term investment environment when expected stock returns will be muted compared to history. Do not take this opportunity set away from investors!!
I believe as an adult, I should be able to make my own decisions as to what is right and wrong for my family, my money and myself. With the legalization of options, futures that expire casinos and intra-game gambling on sports I cant see why how I invest my money should be regulated.
Hello,
I should be able to invest in any public investment without regulation. Leveraged and inverse funds play an important role in my and my families investment strategy. Anytime I made a trade in an inverse or leveraged fund I get a warning and disclosure and have to check a box saying I agree and understand the risks associated with the fund. As an investor that is plenty of disclosure of the possible risk and no other regulation is needed.
I believe the general public should be precluded from investing in these complex products. When you compare the retail investors who make money versus lose money in these products it is obvious that the products are not for the average retail investor.
Do not limit my right to invest.
Investors have a personal obligation to educate themselves before investing in anything. People should have the freedom to invest however they choose. Some will make mistakes and some will win big, that's how life is. Its impossible to baby the stupid people without taking away the freedom of those who know what they are doing. Therefore, it should not be done.
Dear FINRA Administrators: I understand that FINRA is considering limits to individual investment choice and I am strongly opposed to any such action. I believe individual choice should remain paramount and what any individual invests in should not be limited by government or administrators who think "they know better." Please remember, if I choose to invest in a leveraged fund - I am the one taking the risk - not the federal government. If I decide to invest in a target date fund that is my choice, If I choose to bury my money in a glass jar in the yard - that is my choice too.
I have used leveraged ETF and inverse funds to hedge my trading account. These ETFs are important for me to achieve my investment goals.
Thank you so much for your consideration!
