Elisa Trombetta Comment On Regulatory Notice 22-08

Consider additional warnings on trading platforms so investors better understand the risks, but please DO NOT restrict trading in ProShares for retail investors. My husband and I invest carefully and have done quite well with ProShares funds in the past. Other investors' ignorance or carelessness should not be a reason to keep us and others like us from investing as we wish in the funds we choose.

Public investments should be available to all of the public, not just the privileged.

I am capable of understanding leveraged and inverse funds and their risks. I do not need any regulation or limitation imposed on my ability.

Leverage and inverse funds are important for liquidity issues.
I use it as hedge limiting my investment losses.

There should be at no regulation in investment as possible.
Regulation imposed on public investments, including leveraged and inverse funds makes things get worse.

Thank you

totally not needed. Public investments are public..Period! If I want to invest, it is My Responsibility to understand what I am doing. I am an active user of leveraged and inverse funds for hedging as well as another form of using risk. I also use currency, fixed income products and options. I have lost money as well as made money using these products. Don't impede my ability to use various financial investments or make me waste my time jumping over a bunch of hurdles to become "certified" under created regulations,

I oppose any restrictions on the ability to freely trade any public commodity. I oppose any trade restriction on any commodity simply because they are leveraged, or reverse leveraged. I trade in these stocks almost daily and they make up a significant portion of my portfolio. A private investor should not have to jump through bureaucratic hoops in order to freely exercise their right to purchase or sell any public stock. The risk is mine. The reward is mine. You don't need to babysit me or hold my hand while trading.
