Regarding Regulatory Notice #22-08:
I am very much AGAINST the proposal to remove or restrict my access to tools that I use to maintain and enhance my financial security such as leveraged and inverse ETFs.
The fund families and brokerage houses themselves do a very good job of explaining the risks of these products. I have relied on these tools for years in conjunction with volatility-based trailing stops to manage my securities portfolio with great success.

Dear FINRA:
I want to express in the strongest terms my objection to and disappointment over what's being proposed. I own TBT and it has been enormously helpful to me especially in this period of sharply rising interest rates. Investors are sophisticated today and to prevent them from buying what are essentially hedging/loss mitigating vehicles prevents us from hedging our fixed income portfolios, which is unacceptable! Same applies to a broad range of "complex" products! Please drop this bad idea.

You have no right to regulate any investment options. This is an assault on free democracy and markets instead regulate politicians and set up term limits

Please. I beg you. We, the public, are not your children. Please stop treating us as such.

If we have funds sufficient to invest, then we have shown that we have sufficient wherewithal to read and understand a contract. Let us.

I oppose limitations on my investments. I believe it is an investors right to freely access the entirety of the public securities markets without arbitrary restrictions.

I am very much opposed to Government interference in my choices of investments. Less government interference is better. The government screws up not of the thing that they mess with. Less government more freedom.

I need to be able to buy or sell leveraged and inverse funds. It is a great way of preserving my capital investments during wild market swings. For instance, VIX Market Volatility Index is tracked by several different funds and helped me preserve the capital in my IRA during the latest increase from 4/20/22-5/06/22, offsetting my stock and ETF losses during that time. I was then able to reinvest that money from the sale of my inverse funds back into my stocks and ETF portfolio.

Comments: Responsibility lies with the investor on the types of instruments in which they choose to invest. Burdening brokerage firms with additional onerous processes will only serve to deny investment vehicles to the investor community. The current environment strikes the appropriate balance between the investor and the brokerage firms. No further changes are required.

It is the person investing's business. I think the govt. needs to myob what we do with our money and get [REDACTED] out of our hip pockets. If folks aren't rich Biden has already made our life a [REDACTED] with every thing going up!
