I use inverse leveraged funds as a hedging tool, as a type of insurance if my long investments suffer a large loss. These leveraged funds would then partially offset my loss in my main investments.
I don't think I agree that there should be restrictions on these or other investments as I think this would be a restriction on the freedom which most Americans cherish. I'm not at all sure why regulators think they have the right to take away some of these freedoms.
While regulation and consumer protections are necessary, appropriate and worthwhile, this proposal adds hurdles incongruous with the risks involved.
Please make no restrictions to my lawful market activities. I am responsible for and capable of managing my own financial risks. The leveraged investment activities are of my choice.
I don't agree with your newly proposed rules. I've been investing in leveraged funds for 7 years and I don't want you to impose new rules over them.
I trade TQQQ and SQQQ to with options and stoock to protect my other investments in my IRA
From the change in otc pink sheets to now removing access to leveraged products is an insult to the retail investing population. The complete mismanagement of the financial markets is on you and the lack of willingness to hold anyone accountable other than retail is unbelievable.
Please do NOT limit my ability to invest the way I choose. Or discriminate against me in any way. I OPPOSE the new regulation being proposed by FINRA.
America is all about Freedom. Americans wishing to increase their wealth should be able to have the same choices as professional investors. This proposal reeks of protection for Wall Street corporations.
I do not support this proposal.
I strongly opposite the proposed restrictions on my ability to invest in Leverage and Inverse ETF, which is very critical tools for me to manage my entire portfolio. If you need to restrict, you must start with more speculative vehicles in the investment and trading community.
