I OPPOSE RESTRICTIONS TO MY RIGHT TO INVEST!
Individual investors know, understand, and are fully aware of their risks when it comes to leveraged and inverse funds. We dont need your restrictions. We need you to worry about protecting the individuals rights to trade freely in anything we see fit.
I adamantly oppose restricting access to leveraged funds. You lose the money than you have invested. It is not your job to be big brother. I have 7 years as a government executive in a state department that was a regulator. I am a democrat. And I think this whole concept is an extreme over reach. These funds mirror the market. They are not done rouge Ponzi scheme. If the funds exist they should not be restricted and further than what a margin account allows. If you qualify for margin you should not be restricted from leveraged funds.
I oppose limitations on my ability to buy the Funds
I am an investor in stock market and know what my own risk is in investment. I oppose the restrictions to my right to invest. Thanks, Sambun
I can't agree that only privileged people can invest leverage and inverse funds. Those funds should be available to all people of investment. I know both positive and negative aspects of those funds and I am investing with my knowledge of risk. Don't restrict the investment chance.
What part of PUBLIC do you not understand?? I'm not stupid. I understand what I'm doing. I don't have all my money in leveraged funds, but it serves a purpose in my portfolio.
AND... Let's say someone does invest not wisely and they lose money. It's not your place to play Mommy!! How else do they learn??? PLUS, this sound like a very slippery slope... What's next?? You going to tell me what groceries to buy??
We should be able to choose the public investments that are right for me and my family. I understand leveraged and inverse funds and their risks.
I used to invest in futures like NQ, YM and ES which are more riskier. Leveraged and inverse funds are less riskier and this is one of the reason I switched to leveraged funds.
Leveraged funds help in enhancing returns and hedging my other investments amd I feel that I should havethe option of investing in them as and when I need them.
Please reconsider making any changes to the current regulations
for leveraged and inverse funds. I should be able to choose the
public investments that are right for me and my family. Public
investments should be available to all of the public, not just the
privileged.
I should not have to go through any special process, like passing a test before I can invest in public securities, leveraged and inverse funds. I am able to understand leveraged and inverse funds and their risks. I do not want or need these measures imposed on me.
This being a free country (not communist and not a nanny state), I don't want the govt telling me how to invest my own money, it's no more dangerous than starting and running your own business from a start-up.
