Dr. Barlow Comment On Regulatory Notice 22-08

Public investments should be available to all public as our families decide. There should be no special process as most of us are capable of understanding risks. Do not impose any additional measures on us. These are important for our investment strategies and should have no limitations placed. There may be little else common folks can use in difficult circumstances (like this well orchestrated market crash). Are you totally controlled by the big investment firms now? Isn't it bad enough that they control the gold and silver markets holding their prices down?

Leveraged and inverse funds should be made available to all investors. Investors should be free to invest in any security that fits their risk tolerance profile. Allowing only specific segments of the market to access these securities creates the opportunity for a wider wealth gap. By opening up investments, such as these kind, to all investors creates a level playing field. Investors should always invest within their risk profile after necessary due diligence.

Government needs to keep it's dirty hands of Americans right to invest. If I want to buy a million inverse efts I have that right. The Government [REDACTED] can't keep your hands off peoples investments that are just trying to pad there retirement. If this is done most people will pull all there money out and the stock market will continue to crash. I promise this will happen only out of pure ignorance from very poor leadership. Leave the investment world alone. Government has already ruined everything it's tried to change. [REDACTED]

Leveraged and inverse funds like those offered by Direxion and Proshares provide individual investors like me the opportunity to take leveraged positions without the need to understand the underlying complex derivatives and options tools used to create the leverage. Please don't add extra restrictions that make the use of the funds more difficult. I already have to regularly sign a statement that I understand the added risks these funds entail.
