Alan Cottle Comment On Regulatory Notice 22-08

-I, not regulators, should be able to choose the public investments that are right for me and my family.
-I should not need to go through any special process like passing a test before I can invest in these securities.
-Leveraged and inverse funds are a crucial part of my investment strategy, and have been for over a decade. They are crucial to my hedging and investment protection strategy, and a key component for maximizing profits.

This is a very serious restriction on the middle class. I should be able to choose my investments that are right for me and my family not regulators. If this is taken away from us then the rich get richer and they become the privileged class. I have been investing for over 10 years and have done my own due diligence. I shouldn't have to pass a test or explain that I am capable of understanding investments and their risks. Please stop this madness!

Kim Kwiatek Comment On Regulatory Notice 22-08

I would request that I continue to be allowed to use leveraged funds as a part of my portfolio as I have been for many years. My specific investment style uses these funds as a carefully considered strategy for a relatively small portion of my investment portfolio. Going through vetting and complex processes will add nothing to my investing safely and ultimately I believe that I have the right to determine what is an appropriate investment for myself. Thanks for your consideration.

I should be able to choose the public investments that are right for me. Public investments should be available to all of the public, not just the privileged. Additional regulation would only serve as an unfair restriction on the public in investing in public securities. I shouldn't have to go through any special process like passing a test before I can invest in public securities, like leveraged and inverse funds. I am capable of making my own decisions and doing my own research, and everyone should have a right to those things.
