Now that we stand a chance to make our money back, you want to take this avenue away. Same old wall street, just a different day. You have propped this market up with QE and ficticious low interest to let companies buy back shares and increase earnings. Leave it alone. We've come this far without you! No thanks!
Received the letter, thank you for this reminder. I have been studying and managing finances for a long time, considering that this is a common investment for me and my family. At the same time, I also believe that having this kind of investment is a public investment that every investor should have. Public investment should be enjoyed by everyone, not a privileged class. When I made these investments, I seriously studied in the services provided by securities service providers. Therefore, be able to understand leveraged and inverse funds and their risks.
Retail investors should have access to the same ETF's/investments institutions do.
Why do I have to jump through hoops to make an investment. A Leveraged fund is a very small part of my portfolio . Let me decide what I want to invest in.
I believe I have a right to make my own investment decisions .
I strongly oppose the proposed limitations on leveraged funds. I fully understand the risks and benefits , and I do not want regulators to make decisions for me.
Limiting the options for individuals to invest in public investments, which any sort of investment, whether its a security, ETF, CD, stock, fund, note, trust, etc, whether its complex, or not is not justified. Simple investments would still have a risk, irregardless of banning and limiting certain individuals to be involved in any sort of investments.
You not regulators should be able to choose the public investments that are right for you and your family. Public investments should be available to all of the public, not just the privileged.
Individuals should be able to choose the public investments that are right for themselves. Public investments should be available to all of the public not just privileged, which would create further wealth inequality in this country.
Regulators should not restrict or impose limitations on what the public is allowed to invest. This proposed change would make these investing options products available to high-earners, that's discrimination right there!
