I oppose restrictions to my right to invest.
Any restriction of investable assets has a large, negative affect on not only retail investors, but investors of IRA's and other retirement vehicles. Ever since the proliferation of online investing, the average American, and non-citizen has seen an unparalleled opportunity for wealth creation.
I am an individual investor and am unhappy to hear that there may be restrictions imposed upon my right to invest in certain public investments, such as inverse or leveraged funds. This is not a decision SOMEONE ELSE should make for ME or anyone else. I understand how such funds work and the risk associated with investing in them. I do not need additional hoops to jump through to make my investment choices and am capable of deciding the risk/reward profile I am comfortable with ON MY OWN.
Thank you, and have a great day!
I feel, there is NO investment that should have participation regulated by everyday people. Regulate the politicians, not the citizens.
Do not mess with ivestment methods which work well.If you have to do something spend your time trying to fix our governments national debt problem and how to to cut down the number of dead beats on its payroll
I not regulators should be able to choose the public investments that are right for me and my family. Public investments should be available to all of the public, not just the privileged. I shouldn't have to go through any special process like passing a test before I can invest in public securities. I am more than capable of understanding my investments and their risks and I do not need
these measures imposed on me.
I believe I should be able to choose how I invest, not the government telling me how.
This is outrageous. Individuals should be allowed the same instruments as the privileged few. I should be able to choose the investments that are right for me and m family.I am capable of understanding leveraged and inverse funds and their risk. I do not need to pass a "test" to invest in these instruments. I am currently using a inverse fund and it is helping to protect (hedge) my investments.
All my life I have worked so That I might retire comfortably. Not rich, but enough to pay bills and live without any monetary assistance from the Government programs. President Regan once said two things that you should be aware of. Hi Im from the Government and Im here to help. Please leave the cryptocurrency alone.
Like millions of other Americans, I am quite capable of making my own investing decisions. Restricting the choices available to investors is not the right way to approach policy.
Regulators should appropriately respond when bad actors break the rules and regulations, but taking a blanket approach that impacts all investors is just intellectually lazy. You can do better.
