Do not put regulations on these type of investment
Let's see some research as to who is using these instruments, how long they are holding them, and examples of smaller investors getting into trouble with them.
As far as I can see, most of the market is as risky as these etfs are.
What did you do about the Robinhood brokerage?
I have invested wisely for many years and this attempt to limit my options to invest will damage the overall integrity and effectiveness of my strategy. i fully understand "leveraged and inverse funds and hope that this proposed action will not be instituted.
It is unfair for retail investors not able to access to these ETFs. We should not pass this . I am strongly allow retail investors to choose
Regulators should not interfere with my right to purchase leveraged or inverse securities. We have a free enterprise system, so please don't interfere with my liberties. If I lose money in this type of investment, then lesson learned. That's the best way to learn.
Leveraged funds aren't complex.
Options are moderately complex and should require some amount of savviness to participate in.
Crypto funds are scams and I am shocked that regulated brokers are allowed to push them.
I believe it is the prerogative of individual investors to choose for themselves their risk appetite. Placing such strict regulation on leveraged investment vehicles would do very little to protect a select few investors and very much to send destructive ripples through the entire investing community. I strongly oppose such regulation and favor instead a free market approach where, as mentioned above, investors freely choose the vehicles that support their appetite for risk.
I oppose restriction on investing on leveraged product. It is my responsibility to invest on the thing for me, by me.
Please do not oppose restrictions on these leveraged and inverse funds. My clients and I really like these funds as a part of their overall portfolio.
