I strongly oppose restrictions to my right to invest
Leveraged and inverse funds are important to your investment strategies. Consider explaining ways you use leverage and inverse funds, including that they help you protect (hedge) your investments or seek enhanced returns, and if you use them as a limited part of your overall portfolio.
Comments: I use inverse EFT's and would ask that you simply require some sign off via pamphlet. Rather than complex legal certification.
Thank you
I would like to buy leveraged and inverse funds and dozens of other popular investments as usual!
I am firmly against the proposed changes to limit access to and actions on leveraged and inverse funds. For myself and others like me, they are a legitimate, useful, and profitable investing vehicle that form a significant portion of my short term investing strategy. Respectfully, I am asking that you do not over regulate where it is not needed.
To whom it may concern, FINRA's current effort to seek restrictions around "Complex Products" appears to fall into the category of "fixing something that isn't broken." This is something the government often appears to excel in and in this instance reads as a rather arbitrary and capricious effort to restrict access to investment choices. As a rule, I vehemently oppose such regulation.
You not regulators should be able to choose the public investments that are right for you and your family. Public investments should be available to all of the public, not just the privileged. I shouldn't have to go through any special process like passing a test before I can invest in public securities, like leveraged and inverse funds. I am capable of understanding leveraged and inverse funds and their risks. I do not need these measures imposed on me. Leveraged and inverse funds are important to my investment strategies.
Investors should be free to invest any of the types -leveraged or not. Simple. Keep the hands of freedom of choice.
Pro shares leverage has made me tons of profit and I use it to hedge risk. Do not limit my ability to hedge risk while you guys in the government increase the debt, destroy the dollar, and destroy the economy because you guys werent prepared for Covid. To cover up your mistakes you too leveraged and hedged risk to save the economy but it is us the tax payers that have to pay for your screwups.
