Comments: At every step along the way of purchasing a leveraged ETF or ETN asset, it is very clear that these products should be held for short term active speculative purposes. Every website you go to when researching the products immediately warns traders about the dangers of beta decay due to long term holding of such assets. I would argue that the risks associated with trading leveraged ETFs are made even more clear than shares in individual companies, where people buy in to companies just because they like the products or because it is the hottest meme stock.

I oppose the restrictions on being able to buy public investments. I dont think I should have to take any type of test to see if I qualify to purchase any type of investment. I buy different types of investments including cryptos to diversify my investments. I have done quite well in the past with the stock market and plan on living off the investment returns through out my(our) retirement years. Thank you for not imposing restrictions on me.

small investors should be able to invest same as large ones and at the same time.

I am an experienced, knowledgeable investor and trader and do not need "protection" from regulations like this proposal.

There's no reasonable excuse to prevent anyone from investing into any public investments. There are plenty of legal investment brokers for sound financial advice. It appears that once again the money is trying to keep those of us trying to build up a stable financial security for ourselves.

I have spent 50 years perfecting my investment process both personally and for clients. I managed to survive and flourish through 8-9 bear markets. I accomplish this by using the most broadest of diversifications including being able to sell short markets. Inverse etfs including leveraged ones are important tools to have in the tool box to accomplish this. they are convenient and in many ways reduce the risk that one would have to undertake using options or individual stocks, if one wanted to hedge.
