Vote no please. Do not block my retirement investments
It is important to allow retail investors to select what investments they make, including leveraged and inverse funds. They offer interesting opportunities and heading capabilities.
Please allow the use of leveraged and inverse etfs as those investments provide a means of hedging other investments in my portfolio. In addition those etfs have short-term profit-making potential.
Limiting access to financial instruments based on net worth is z
Fidelity is going to offer bitcoin and youre going to limit leveraged etfs? How does that make sense. Bitcoin isnt even real.
Leveraged etfs have a place in a portfolio as part of a risk tolerant strategy, adding with bonds its easier to create the optimal portfolio mix for a given risk level. Its just a tool in the toolbox, why limit it?
Subject - Petition to FINRA opposing FINRAs proposal to restrict / stop trading in Leveraged ETFs / ETNs
I submit that the current controls of my broker when any investor invests in any leveraged ETFs / ETNs are adequate.
1. Every investor when trades in Leveraged ETFs / ETNs mandatorily signs the Designated Investments Agreement that clearly states the risk & the qualification
requirements.
2. Every time the investor places order of any Leverages ETFs / ETNs, the system displays a warning about these products.
Leveraged funds have been an important part of my portfolio for at least 5 years. Let investors make investment decisions. There is no reason to restrict the use of these funds.
Dear regulators,
I should be able to choose publicly available investments that are right for me and my family. This filling is an over reach. Ordinary Investors like myself and others are much more sophisticated, informed, educated, and savvy than previous generations. With the the prevalence of Fintech platforms and the Internet financial education has never been easier to obtain, and reliance on a financial advisor had never been lower.
Do not put restrictions or control markets. Keep it for free-world
