I want to be free, not "protected". I should have the same access to these financial tools as anyone else.
Me- not regulators should be able to choose the public investments that are right for me and my family.Public investments should be available to all public not just the priviledged. I shouldnt have to go through any special process like passing a test to invest in public securities. I am capable of making inverse and leveraged funds and their risk.
Investors have the right to decide which public equities, bonds, and funds they want to buy. It is their right to freely access the entirety of public securities markets without arbitrary restrictions.
When tyrants in third-world dictatorships want to steal freedoms from their citizens, they shamelessly grab them.
When tyrants in first-world "sophisticated" nations want to steal freedoms from their citizens, they grab them under the guise of "safety" and "security."
I strongly oppose restrictions on my trading accounts. Why would you do this? I have been trading these vehicles for years. You may well be opening yourselves up to class action lawsuits. You would be interfering with peoples ability to earn a living.
I want to continue using leverage etf
I will not let my rights to invest, as I see fit, be infringed upon without fighting for them. Government oversight in the US has become ubiquitous and therefore unconstitutional. The restrictions that you're proposing on the majority in favor of the few is a fascist measure reminiscent of the Jim Crow Laws of the old American South and must not stand. If they are passed, they WILL be challenged all the way to the US Supreme Court, if necessary. I firmly urge you not to make that necessary.
Publically available leveraged funds form an important component in my investiment portfolio. I use them not only to improve investiment efficiency but also to de-risk by holding more positions in cash and treasury bonds.
I understand and can manage the risk with investing in leveraged funds. I oppose restrictions to my right to invest.
More regulations are a burden on an experienced investor like me. I have used leveraged funds since inception. Please do not try to limit my portfolio returns.
