Hi,

I am perfectly capable of investing in and managing leveraged funds. This is a major market maker manipulation and I STRONGLY object.
Leveraged and inverse ETF products are fantastic tools that enable investors of every size to structure their own investment strategy. I personally use leveraged ETFs to generate market comparable returns while retaining a higher cash position than I would otherwise be able to do. I've also used inverse ETFs to protect my portfolio during falling markets. My young adult children invest in leveraged ETFs in their Roth IRAs to maximize long term investment gains.
I've traded these leveraged funds for the last 4 years, to have these stripped away from the average day trader is a gut punch to the average trader and shows the average American isn't allowed to compete with the hedge funds of America. Your reasoning for stripping this access to average trader is a joke and implies someone else stands to make more money by doing so.
I have been investing in leveraged ETFs for over 13 years, successfully, I might add. I strongly oppose any restrictions on my trading of leveraged ETFs
I should not have to prove my experience or net worth to be able to invest in leveraged or inversed ETF's. Those securities should be available to the public without regulator restrictions.
Dear FINRA,
Leveraged funds are an important part of my personal investment strategy, and as public offerings, should be available to the public without restrictions or requiring special authorizations.
Fund descriptions are made available so that myself and the general public are able to research what we invest in and assess our own individual risks. It is our responsibility to understand these risks and decide our own investment strategies accordingly. Do not restrict the public from the ability to invest in public offerings.
I should have the right to invest with being marginalized because of my net worth or imply Im to stupid to understand how this works.
I understand and can manage the risk with investing in leveraged funds. I oppose restrictions to my right to invest.
As an adult who is competent enough to open a brokerage account and make trades, I should have the freedom to make any investment that meets the risk tolerance I deem acceptable. You, the regulators, don't understand my position or needs as an investor and as such are not qualified to direct me how to invest my money. Stop wasting my time and tax dollars by trying to restrict my investment strategies.
