i am opposed of additional regulations for the invest of proshare or similar investment vehicle. besides limiting future investors it will hurt the current investor by making the invest less liquid in nature. additional, the rules proposed do not help investor and therefore should not be implemented. please vote to not add additional regulations. Leveraged and inverse funds are important to your investment strategies. i use them to leverage protect my investments. And i use them as a limited part of my overall portfolio

Please allow anyone to invest in leveraged funds. I invest in a leveraged fund of the S&P 500 index fund. Can you think of another index or benchmark that is safer? This merely doubles it. It's not risky over the long term at all.

To whom it may concern,

I support the ability to be able to invest in leveraged funds. Do not take this valuable tool away from investors.

Please do not make it so I can not or make it harder to invest in leverage funds. I have been investing in them for about three years now and have made more money from them than any other form of investing.

I strongly oppose any restriction to invest in leveraged and inverse funds.
Anyone should be FREE to make their own decisions and take their own risk for any investment one deems appropriate for their circumstances.
Leverage and inverse funds are an excellent tool to hedge against stocks and market risk and also to enhance returns in the short run as well as in the long run.

I am against this Regulation Proposal

I should be able to choose the public investments that are right for me and my family. Public investments should be available to all of the public, not just the privileged.

I shouldn't have to go through any special process like passing a test before I can invest in public securities, like leveraged and inverse funds. I am capable of understanding leveraged and inverse funds and their risks. I don't need my hand to be held!

Please stay out of areas where you don't belong. We are not all dummies, you know...nor are we Democrats...but's that's redundant.

I am a licensed broker and financial advisor with industry credentials and could likely meet most of the criteria FINRA proposes to impose. However, I believe it's morally unjust and politically undemocratic to restrict the use of powerful investment tools to the wealthy and well-connected.
