Liam Shanahan Comment On Regulatory Notice 22-08

Limiting citizens ability to trade leveraged funds, commodity funds, REITs and various other financial instruments is a direct attack on the citizenry and should be unconditional. This would be a hindrance on financial freedom in what is a world where opportunities and social mobility is increasingly hard to find. As a broker and US citizen, I vehemently oppose such a rule and think those who proposed it should be forced to resign of not worse.

Naveed Khan Comment On Regulatory Notice 22-08

Respected gentlemen/ladies, I have few things to say to you about these proposed new regulations: 1. Please let me continue to decide what I do with my money and where I put it. 2. Please let me continue to decide what my portfolio would be composed of and please stay out of my portfolio 3. Please don't tell me that I'm not intelligent enough to invest in public securities like leveraged and inverse funds. I have a very good understanding of them and I don't really need anyone to teach me about their prospects and associated risks 4.

Andrew Parker Comment On Regulatory Notice 22-08

There is no good reason that investors of any kind should be segregated and barred from any type of public investment vehicles, especially not on account of available funds. This rule banning certain investors from inverse and leveraged investment vehicles would limit individual investment strategies and only benefit large institutions. It is fundamentally unfair and disrespectful to the intelligence of retail investors.

Tami Terk Comment On Regulatory Notice 22-08

I should have the right to be able to choose investments that are right for me and my family - not regulators. Public investments are called PUBLIC for a reason - they should be available to the public not a select privileged group that gets to profit while others miss their chance. I am capable of understanding leveraged funds and their risks and it is my money I am taking the risk with not anybody elses, so I dont understand why I am being asked to jump through hoops and pass tests to be able to invest my own hard earned money.
