I should be able to choose the public
investments that are right for me and my family.
Public investments should be available to all of the public,
not just the privileged. As a former Certified Financial Planner for nearly 30 years I know about market and investment risks and understand the complexity of trading leveraged investments.
Plase do NOT restrict the purchase of investments you refer to as "complex products".
I purchase these types of investments when they benefit my portfolio. They are NOT complex and work to my advantage when used.
A Prima facia taking would be established if FINRA would dislodge current TQQQ holders of their positions, who would incur massive damages, should this occur given the current spike down in equity markets.
Are you kidding me? Do you want to be more obvious that you're aware your financial system is broken and the retail investor has figured out the game. This screams that regulators are afraid of the power of the every day citizens. DO NOT PASS THIS REGULATION. People deserve the power over their own finances no matter how small they may be. If this is a reaction to the rise of the retail investor and meme stock popularity it's a telling one. Passing this type of regulations states once again that the stock market is not for the working class but to keep the rich wealthy.
I'm tired of politicians screwing the people. Any time we find a way to make a little more. The government finds a way to take more. Rate hikes, inflation, etc. Enough is enough.
I oppose limitations on buying, selling, and options on proshares tradable etfs.
I am a private trader/investor. I have been using inverse and leveraged vehicles for many years in addition to more traditional vehicles. I have both made and lost a huge (for me) amount of money in them, but with time and trading experience I have been able to learn to trade them correctly greatly to my advantage.
1.Leveraged and inverse funds help common investors like an insurance by hedging, so it protects the investment made in the stocks.
2.Restrictions will limit number of investors and thus liquidity.
3. If liquidity/availability less - then brokerage fees will increase.
4.Common investors are aware about the leveraged investments.
5.If investors give details about bank balance, net worth details, a hacking in brokerage facility will lead to investors loosing everything to hackers.
I oppose restrictions to my right to invest.
