I not regulators should be able to choose the public
investments that are right for me and my family.
Public investments should be available to all of the public,
not just the privileged.
Leveraged and inverse funds are important to my
investment strategies. They help me
protect (hedge) my investments or seek enhanced returns.
I feel that your proposed regulations are insultingly presumptuous. I alone will prosper or suffer from my investments. I dont need interference in my choices. I have been handling investments for many years and have done quite well. I can handle complex instruments, and more importantly I know my limits. I include leveraged or inverse funds when and only when I am comfortable that they are appropriate. I feel that the conclusion that I need to be restricted, not to mention tested, in using these instruments is beyond insulting.
I am an individual investor who essentially manages my own portfolio. I use individual stocks, mutual funds, ETFs and KNOW THAT IT IS MY OWN RESPONSIBILITY to do my OWN homework and KNOW my investment choices including the risks and potential rewards. I also use leveraged ETFs where I CONSIDER APPROPIATE and DO NOT WANT ANY ADDITIONAL REGULATIONS AND EXTRA STEPS IN THE BUYING AND SELLING PROCESS.
My wife and I are perfectly capable of understanding the risks associated with investing, including leveraged and inverse funds. We've done our research and we do not need nor do we desire any government intervention, prohibition, or restrictions imposed on our investment strategy. Leveraged and inverse funds are important to our investment strategies. We include these fund types to help protect (hedge) our investments and seek enhanced returns, they are an important and limited part of our overall portfolio.
You so-called "regulators" are nothing [REDACTED] You constantly turn a blind eye to financial crimes committed at the highest level. You now want to shut down regular, retail investors from making an honest buck. All while you [REDACTED] scream from the rooftops how you're protecting the FREE MARKET. The hypocrisy just never ends. [REDACTED]
Hi Carlos y'all getting too big for you britches you need to leave everybody's buying and selling up to them your face y'all still from the public to make yourself richer close you [REDACTED] sure have with your inside trading just like [REDACTED] and Bill Clinton sold all are you bring them to Russia humor you closely and Jill Biden needs to be in jail for elder abuse and all I'm special old more and the rest of them that's got failing charges against them you need to be in jail y'all need to be treated as terrorist and traders to this country so leave our mind and selling and trade
I wish to express my opposition to FINRA's proposed regulations from purchasing securities designated as complex products such as those on cryptocurrency. I do not own any cryptocurrency but I do own leveraged stocks and ETF's and other securities which may be classified as complex products. As a knowledgeable investor, I am qualified to assess the risk of securities I purchase and I have a fundamental right to invest my money in any security that meets my risk tolerance. Please do not restrict or limit this right.
I oppose restrictions
on my right to invest in public investments. This should be a free market of buyers and sellers who freely choose how to invest capital. Please do not impose any more regulations.
