Wireless Internet Access
The Northeast Regional Office offers wireless internet access to visitors. There is no cost to connect to the FINRA Guest Wireless Local Area Network. To use this service, visitors will need a laptop or mobile device that has Wireless Local Area Network capabilities and a web browser installed on the device. Visitors will be required to accept the FINRA Guest Wireless Local Area Network Terms and Conditions. Please be aware that FINRA’s wireless service provides unencrypted access to the public internet. Accordingly, you may wish to use your company’s VPN or encryption software for sensitive traffic and/or remote connectivity to your enterprise network.
Onsite FINRA staff will provide you with the necessary credentials to access the Guest Wireless Local Area Network.
Office Hours
The New York Dispute Resolution Office hours are 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday. Conference room hours of operation are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. If you will need access to the suite after 6 p.m., please contact FINRA staff in advance to make arrangements for after-hours access.
Delivery and Pickup
To deliver or pick up exhibits, please notify FINRA staff in advance and provide the specific number of boxes being picked up or delivered.
Companies that need to use the freight elevator to complete a delivery or pick up must provide a Certificate of Liability Insurance to FINRA staff. If the Certificate of Liability Insurance is approved, FINRA staff will contact you to coordinate the date and time of delivery.
Please see the link below for a sample Certificate of Liability Insurance and all required information.

* Please note that the Certificate of Liability Insurance must be provided to FINRA staff at least 2 days prior to the intended delivery date.
Duplication of Audio Files
Requests for copies of audio recordings should be made in writing, directed to your Case Administrator, and submitted via the DR Portal.
File Retrieval
FINRA Dispute Resolution staff will retrieve an archived closed file for parties only. The cost for retrieval of a file is $25.00 and the cost to return the file to archives is $25.00. These charges will be passed on to the party requesting the file.
Storage of Materials
Parties and arbitrators must make arrangements with FINRA staff to leave any materials overnight in the conference room. FINRA Dispute Resolution assumes no responsibility for loss and/or theft of exhibits stored overnight. If parties wish to ship documents to FINRA Dispute Resolution in advance of a hearing, they may do so. FINRA staff will place the documents in the assigned hearing room. FINRA Dispute Resolution staff will not be responsible for arranging shipment or transfer of documents to another location; however, parties may arrange to have documents picked up or shipped from the FINRA Dispute Resolution office.
Restrooms
There are individual bathrooms available for use. As a courtesy to others, please remember to keep the common restrooms neat.
Witness Waiting Area
A witness waiting area is provided.
Breakout Rooms
Breakout rooms are limited and are available on a first come, first served basis. FINRA requests that parties and arbitrators take their belongings with them when leaving these rooms so others may use them.
Emergency Procedures
In the event of an emergency, please contact a staff member immediately. Staff are familiar with emergency procedures and are ready to assist you. In an emergency that occurs after hours, if there is no staff member available, please contact building security by phone at (646) 315-8582 and FINRA Security at (240) 386-5275.
To reach a 911 emergency operator, please use any phone and dial 911. No prefix number is required to reach an outside line; just dial 911.
Copies
Parties are expected to bring the appropriate number of documents and exhibits with them. This includes three copies for the Panel and a copy for each party representative. A copy of each document and exhibit must also be uploaded via the DR Portal for FINRA’s official record.
FINRA staff are not able to print or copy documents for hearing participants. A printer/copier is available for small copy/print jobs. Larger copy/print jobs should be handled off-site.
Off-Site Copying Service
For printing and copying needs, there are two copying services within walking distance from the office.
