Customer Debits Report

The Customer Debits Report provides a monthly summary of unsecured customer debits and average margin debits in a firm's customer accounts, as well as statistics on unsecured customer debits and margin debits in customer accounts across the industry. This information is reported to FINRA by self-clearing firms and clearing firms on behalf of their correspondents, as required by FINRA Rule 4530. If a correspondent firm uses multiple clearing firms, the data is aggregated for the purposes of this report.

An asterisk(*) in place of data in the report indicates that no data has been provided to FINRA for this value for the specified period, or that the clearing firm has provided zeros in these values for more than 30 consecutive days. After zeros have been received for 30 days, the system translates zeros on subsequent consecutive days into asterisks.

The Customer Debits monthly counts are derived from data that is submitted on a daily basis. To view the daily data, click the appropriate month hyperlink. For more information, please see Customer Debits Report Daily View.

This report is published no later than the 10th business day of the month. Users who have not opted-out of notifications will receive an email indicating that new reports have been published.
