Classic nanny state, liberal, control the world legislation! Who are you to tell us how to invest our money? Who are you to tell me that I am unable to manage my portfolio in a responsible manner and limit my exposure to riskier investments. FINRA who the heck ELECTED you to do this draconian, over-stepping requirement. Who are you that hasn't already profited from insider knowledge to line your own pockets?

I am a retail investor and I invest in what might be considered "complex" products such as volatility ETFs and leveraged ETFs. I could simply trade futures contracts and replicate these strategies, however investing in ETFs that maintain those positions is easier. I am aware of the risks of these funds and investigate their strategies carefully before investing. In many cases, I have my own models that simulate the performance of their strategies. Overall, I've done well with these funds and I am satisfied that they are sufficiently regulated.

I know that chances are, no-one will read this; but in the even that you do, I have a few simple words.

Imposing artificial limits on what people can trade and invest in, and especially limited to only the richest among us, is a terrible idea. I'm sure others have explained the reasoning for this before, so I will not go much deeper. Do know, however, that this is setting a dangerous precedent, and you will not be the one benefiting.

I am smart enough to choose what I want to invest in. I wish the government would stay out of my decisions. I am capable of understanding leverage and inverse products and I use them in my strategies to grow my portfolio. I don't need the government to protect me from myself. Please stop

I have used leveraged funds as one part of my balanced portfolio for years. These funds are incredibly helpful in adding a component of high reward/risk investing to my portfolio that often seem reserved for the ultra-wealthy/angel investor/VC limited partner/etc. Allowing the average investor access to these financial tools is critical to the democratization of wealth building in this country. Please DO NOT add hoops for investors to jump through in order to invest in leveraged and inverse funds!

I as an investor of my own money that I earned should be able to choose the investments that are right for me and my family.
There should never be two standards for investments for those who have exorbitant wealth, and those who don't. Public investments should be available to all of the public, not just the privileged.
I have used TTT to make good ROI and now that is threatened because FINRA thinks that I am too uneducated to make that trade.

Do not impose this rule on a system that is already rigged enough.

Please keep leveraged funds available to all investors.

I run a systematic quarterly rebalancing plan that is powered by leveraged ETFs. I know what I am doing. The proper use of these leveraged products is a key part of my financial plan.

If leveraged funds are restricted to accredited or wealthy investors only, the wealth gap in the country will increase as the rich get richer in sophisticated products while everybody else languishes in plain old index funds.

I oppose restrictions on my right to invest. I research thoroughly , and do not need to prove it to anyone so that I can invest.

Please allow investing as we have been, not restricted!

As someone who has invested in the markets my whole life this proposed rule is just wrong. The only reason to do such a thing is to not let small individual investors control the money they have. It is the individuals right to invest as they wish and deal with whatever gains or loses they end up with by the decisions they make. It is American as it gets, the pursuit of life liberty and happiness. Please respect that to it's fullest extent.
