As a result, regulating these products further takes choice away from investors who have every opportunity to ensure that they are fully informed.

Joshua Mackie Comment On Regulatory Notice 22-08

I should be able to choose the public investments that are right for me and my family. Public investments should be available to all of the public, not just the privileged. I shouldn't have to go through any special process like passing a test before investing in public securities such as leveraged and inverse funds. Having used these funds in the past, I am capable of understanding leveraged and inverse funds and their risks.

I not regulators should be able to choose the public investments that are right for me and my family. Public investments should be available to all of the public, not just the privileged. You shouldn't have to go through any special process like passing a test before you can invest in public securities, like leveraged and inverse funds. Explain that you are capable of understanding leveraged and inverse funds and their risks. Tell regulators you do not need these measures imposed on you. I spent 22 years in the securities industry and have been active on my own for 20 years ever since.
