I have been investing successfully in leveraged and inverse ETFs for several decades, including currently. I am a non-professional private investor. I believe there should be no regulations which limit my ability to trade these funds like any other ETF or security. I should be able to chose the investments that are most suitable for me and my family, and these should not be available to just select investors.
To FINRA,
The Freedom to trade equities and other asset classes feels like a basic right without needing encumbrances to that end. I am a knowledgeable investor of leveraged ETFs that have returned twice annually as much as I would buying and holding SPY, QQQ or the like (1x leverage).
Any regulation that would impose more hurdles to my trading would feel like restriction, when my regimen of trading is likely more careful than most RIAs or Brokers.
I am aware of the risks associated with this investment and I intend to continue generating significant returns using it. Stop trying to push the little guys out everytime they get on the right side of a trade. Have some dignity, you're better than that. Yours Truly, -Matthew R. Kuennen
I not you regulators should be able to choose the public investments that are right for me. Public investments should be available to all of the public, not just the privileged. This is how people make their dreams come true. This is yet another infringement on people's freedom of choice and ability to pursue their passions I shouldn't have to go through any special process like passing a test before i can invest in public securities, including cryptocurrency funds such as BITO. I am capable of understanding cryptocurrency funds such as BITO and their risks.
This country was founded on the idea that all are created equal and every law passed since has been something to bring more access to that equality and freedom. This country stands for freedom and the idea that anyone can work hard and build themselves up from nothing. The passage of this law stands in direct opposition to the ideals of this nation, to the great shining nation we strive to be for all. We deserve to have the right to invest our money where we feel it will earn the most for us, not have it gatekept behind extra procedures designed to favor the generationally wealthy.
Please don't ad any new regulations.
Leave my cryptocurrencies alone. You don't have a right to regulate everything.
Being that corporate America has a grasp on the stock market and can manipulate it and you as a politician can get insiders information as to what laws are passing and what PACs entice you where to vote by way of tempting gifts. Crypto is the way I can increase my financial future. I serious hope you consider how you vote as this is what many individual investors who found the benefit of cryptocurrency for future financial wealth for themselves and their family. This is truly for the people by the people and should stay as such. Expectantly Antonio
People need to be able to invest any way they wish. Do not allow restrictions on investing. No Investments are personal, & our government needs to get out of our personal business!
