Leah Chang Comment On Regulatory Notice 22-08

Hi,
Investors should be able to choose the public
investments that fits my investment goal. I understand the risks and responsible for the consequences.
Public investments should be available to all of the public,
not having to pass a test. Its my own money at risk and shouldnt be restricted on when I can make the trade. I have no influence on the bigger market like the CEO of companies so my investment shouldnt be timed. Thanks

(1) The leveraged and inverse funds offered by financial institutes provide excellent investment opportunities and give us financial security. Surely, the investors should aware of their risk and reward. Just like any investment that no investment can guaranty their future performance. However, the regulation should not limit the high potential to have the maximum return. (2) Talking about the risk, there are many riskier investments than the leverage /inverse funds. For example, option trading and community trading are in this category.

I believe as an investor, I have the right to buy leveraged and inverse funds as I have been doing so. It is inequitable for regulations to be made based on income and privilege of the individual. As it is my decision to invest in leveraged funds, I am fully capable of understanding the risks that come with investing in the funds. Investing in leveraged and inverse funds contribute to my benefits as well as the productivity of the economy.
