I've been trading and investing for nearly ten years. This is not the first time I've seen proposed restrictions to leverage ETF trading. I'm disappointed to see this coming up again. The last time it appeared was around the same time the crypto market was starting. Given the size, mess, and potential for fraud and chaos that crypto is presenting I find it infuriating
Hello,
My name is Christopher Francis Lewis Patterson. I am an non-traditional, first generation undergraduate Business Information Systems Major communicating to you in the midst of finals at CSUDH Dominguez Hills in Carson, California. There’s a lot of other details about me that you may find interesting relating to my upcoming dialogue, but that’s not what this comment is about.

What I have witnessed over the past year or so that is going on with stock $GME and $AMC is on a whole different scale. I was new to trading until I got involved signing up with RobinHood earlier in 2020. During that time I wanted to buy in to $GME and was blocked from doing so "for my own protection." essentially missing out on hundreds of dollars or more. I have seen unknown entities
Thank you for the opportunity to comment on the proposed changes to "Complex Products" like L&I Funds, etc. Apparently once again the government thinks that all Americans are idiots. Concern that investors may be "confused" by "complex products" - I find this attitude highly offensive. I would very much prefer that you leave
I can’t express how glad I am to know someone is still looking out for the small-account trader…Many others have already stated the most obvious reasons to do away with the financial industry’s antiquated “[Fin.] Crow” laws, b/k/a “Pattern Day Trader (PDT) rules” – discriminatory pay-to-play minimums, forcing traders to take debilitating losses rather than be branded ‘PDT’/closing-orders-only,

It is now a daily assurance that 60-70% trades are in a dark pool vs open market NYSE for small share count trades? Prominently AMC and GME. Most of the rest of the market is 6-9% dark pool. Not going to fix shorts

No matter which valid point I bring up, the Commission will only find it invalid, however, here goes nothing: I respectfully advise the Commission to re-think the overall goal in respect to their job function. You're asking for comment on something very little
1. The most neglected field in investor education is equity market manipulation. New retail investors should be informed about perpetual option fail-to-delivers, married-puts, shorting via exchange-traded-funds, off-exchange trading and selling synthetic shares to manipulate a stock's price. 2. From a retail investor's perspective: An open forum where individual users can share investor
Re: Effective Methods to Educate Newer Investors Dear Distinguished FINRA Representatives, As a FINRA member for 50 years, founder of several retail securities firms, and creator of Acorns, which has helped millions of new investors get started, I’ve gained a practical understanding of the behaviors and needs of novice investors. The number one finding is that people rarely learn about investing
It is commonly understood that for every transaction the terms of the exchange is known by both parties and executed faithfully to produce what we consider the stock market. Technology now allows for near instant transactions for market participants, therefore the due diligence of reporting that transaction to regulatory authorities should occur simultaneously with the transaction itself.
