Kristin Chaffin

Vice President, Human Resources Business Partner

Kristin Chaffin is Vice President, Human Resources Business Partner, with responsibility for shaping talent, workforce and organizational strategy. In this role, she serves as a strategic advisor to senior leadership, driving initiatives that strengthen culture, enhance workforce capability and support long-term organizational effectiveness.

Ms. Chaffin was previously Senior Director, Human Resources Business Partner with FINRA. Prior to that role, she led FINRA’s Employee Relations, Investigations, and HR Generalist functions, overseeing teams responsible for employee engagement, workplace integrity and the resolution of complex employee matters across the organization.

Ms. Chaffin has more than 20 years of broad industry experience across financial services, insurance, retail, manufacturing and logistics. Throughout her career, she has provided strategic HR leadership across multiple business units, supporting organizations through periods of growth, change and talent transformation. She has held human resources roles at Gallagher, Bridgestone, Target Corporation/Marshall Field’s and Toys “R” Us, gaining extensive experience in multi-site retail operations, large-scale distribution and manufacturing environments. 

Ms. Chaffin holds a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management and Spanish Language & Literature, as well as an MBA, both from Northern Illinois University. She maintains dual senior-level HR certifications—SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) and Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR)—and is a graduate of Georgetown University’s Leadership Coaching program.
