Aryeh Har-Even Comment On Regulatory Notice 22-08

Options are far more dangerous than leveraged ETFs for multiple reasons (e.g. time decay with options whereas one can hold ones "too soon" leveraged positions until market conditions change) and youre proposing this? Makes no sense. Please leave we the investor make own decisions. Politicians should not restrict the freedom of the little guy while only benefiting the privileged. Also, in conditions such as the current market (05-04-22), this is when I tend to use leveraged funds for "a portion" of my longterm portfolio to offset losses.

Leveraged funds are important to my investment strategies. It's been very essential part of my IRA account. Even this kind of investment only make a portion of my entire portfolio, I do like to keep this option available. I oppose to have to go through any special process like passing a test before make such an investment. Please, let us, investors, choose the investment product on the market, no the regulators.

This proposed action is totally unacceptable in a free country. Instituting this policy will demonstrate that this government agency, and therefore this administration, believes in totalitarianism in its truest form. Is this really what you want to do and be remembered for, bringing this beloved country closer to fascism??
Let me spell this out for you:
- In a FREE country, I should be able to choose where I want to invest MY money, the money I worked for. All public investment options should be available to ALL, not just those whom the government chooses.
