Please stay away from my investing decisions. I and not regulators, should decide the nature of my investments. I feel I should not be discriminated in a way that only the privileged elite are allowed to invest in leveraged funds
Risks we take are our decision. Do not take away the ability of informed but non accredited investors to utilize the same tools as the wealthy.
Leave our leveraged investments alone. You've got a lot more important things to do than messing with our investments.
I have been informed that the above referenced regulatory notice is being considered.
I strongly object to the intent of this proposed regulation. I do not believe that FINRA should be able to restrict my ability to chose my investments or to make me go thru a bureaucratic process to establish my right to make those investments. I have been trading these investment vehicles for many years and don't believe that I should be required to solicit FINRA's permission to continue doing so.
FINRA should not move forward with this regulation.
I strongly oppose regulators interfering with my ability to invest in any of the current or future public securities!!! I have found several worthwhile for investing in my years of trading. Less regulation and certainly less red tape should be the goal and not additional burdens placed on small investors like myself. If you want to improve something, get rid of the wash sale nonsense or the $3000 limit on tax losses.
You did this already with Dodd/Frank legislation involving the FX market ( restricting margin access ). Now you want to do the same with the securities markets. Investors need instruments like these right now during the current bear market conditions ( brought on by the Biden Administration ) and others as well. We don't need the assailants offering us first aid to the conditions they created themselves.
This type of should not be removed from access to the genral public. There should always be information available to understand what the risks are with all investments. Those are in place with the current laws. Please do not constrain our investment options with laws that oppress our individual investment decisions.
I Strongly you oppose restrictions for Leveraged funds, Investors who are putting money n these funds are educated enough to know their risk, already a disclaimer is provided, my opinion is No Need of additional restrictions.
I am not a child. I do not need regulators to hold my hand or put their noses in my business.
