Wouter Van Tiel Comment On Regulatory Notice 22-08

This is a FREE country. I have been using inverse funds for over a decade and leveraged funds to and options. If you are going to restrict these funds that's no problem to me I will just use options. You should NOT restrict the use of these funds that is absurd unless you don't want people sitting the market because YOU ARE AFRAID that this will bring the market down. Don't worry, that will happen anyway when people sell. You can't stop that but you are going to prevent people from being able to hedge their positions. That is not ok. Leave this country a FREE country.

The proposed legislation limits the investing power of highly educated or well-read individuals who come from adverse backgrounds. Such regulations are effectively an increased barrier to entry for the many Americans like myself who attempt to build wealth with no assistance from an inheritance. Rather than pass legislation that effectively handcuffs those with little amassed wealth, the legislature should focus instead on increased access to information for individual investors.

To the FINRA board, I strongly believe that I should have the right to choose in what I get to invest in. Publicly traded companies should not be regulated or restricted to the American public. It's not fair that giant corporations or the supremely wealthy have more flexibility and power to play this game, where the common American has to try and get by in this world and one way to do that to help people achieve a greater quality of life is by making financial investments that would help benefit their economic growth.

PROPOSAL HAS TOO MANY UNDEFINED ITEMS, LEAVING PROBABILITY OF GOVT CREEP AND CONTROL. IS TWO MILLION HIGH NET WORTH IN AN INVESTMENT ACCT? OR FOUR? OR FOUR HUNDRED THOUSAND? OR $400? SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE IS RIDICULOUS. DEFINE TERMS, IF EVEN IN SPECIFIC CONCEPTS. I OPPOSE RESTRICTIONS ON INVESTORS, SOME OF WHOM MAY LOSE OR GAIN. BUT, LOSSES AND GAINS LEAD TO LESSONS LEARNED. RESULTS OF ONE'S ACTIONS ARE NOW READILY AVAILABLE. STOP RUNNING OUR LIVES AND CREATING JOBS FOR ONESELLVES!
