Robert Adamkiewicz Comment On Regulatory Notice 22-08

Dear SEC, who gives you the power to impose, block or stop people from investing in the inverse or short position to the market? Before you did not stop Hedge Fund companies to leverage and rig the markets opposite way from traditional markets which always use to make investor money on the way up or just benefiting from dividends. Now that the market is actually starting to shake from over printing and the dollar is in trouble you choose to impose blocks to invest against the coming recession!!!!

Hello FINRA, Leveraged and inverse funds are important to my investment strategy. For example in a downward market trend (Q1 2022) I am able to invest in an inverse leveraged fund (e.g., SQQQ) to mitigate downside risk associated with my individual stock NASDAQ investments. As my individual NASDAQ investments declined the loss was offset by my investment in SQQQ. This helped me protect (hedge) my investments and enhanced my annual returns. Therefore, I believe I should be able to choose the public investments that are right for me and my family.

Dear regulators; Please refrain from increasing your restrictions on my freedom to play the market any which way I choose. You do not need to know if I'm able to invest in any product, just as you have no right to dictate to another their freedoms. That is called slavery. I trade from time to time in inverse funds as it's the only way I'm able to fight the corruption of you and your market participants. Thank you.
