I have used leveraged securities for several years with great success. I am strongly against any regulation that would stop

To FINRA or To Whom It May Concern:
I have been having freedom on my own investments for a decade, and want to maintain my current freedom to invest in public securities of my choosing. As an American citizen, I/anyone should be able to choose the public investments that are right for us! I am grateful that the freedom of the exchange-traded funds that empower me and my family to pursue our financial objectives.
To whom it may concern,
I have been investing in leveraged funds for several years and appreciate the opportunity to do so. I understand the risks of these investments and have accepted their performance. I fear that limits placed on these investments will reduce the freedoms of all but the wealthiest investors.
Hello,
I am in my forties and I have been investing for the past twenty years. I feel that this is unneeded regulation. All stocks have risk. I currently use my leveraged and inverse funds to help protect my portfolio. This money has helped me to pay for my home.
Dear FINRA, people should have the right to invest. It shouldn't be just for the rich people of this world
Please let the rules stay the same.
It is important to me and those I advise to have the freedom and ease of investing short and/ or with leverage in ETF products.
I'm not god's gift to investing, but these funds figure prominently in my portfolio, and I was up about 50% last year - and this year I'm doing just a little worse than the S&P. Not bad overall.
The idea that I could have been prevented from achieving these returns because I don't have a high enough net worth or because I couldn't pass some stupid test is incredibly annoying.
It has been brought to my attention that my ability to buy leveraged or inverse instruments may be restricted by regulators. This could adversely effect my ability to hedge my account and could ultimately have a negative impact on my investments. I would hope that this regulation would not be adopted.
It's my choice to invest in this, do not condescend and disrupt my investment strategy.
I fully understand the risks involved in leveraged securities. They are an important part of my long term strategy. I don't think I should have to pass a test to continue investing in these securities, i have made money doing it.
