Equity Report Cards

These report cards will help firms track their compliance with key equity trading rules related to CAT, Best Execution Outside-of-the-Inside, Market Order Timeliness, Trade Reporting and Reg NMS trade throughs.

Firm QMRC Summary Scorecard
The Firm Summary Scorecard provides an overview of certain performance and comparison statistics from each of the active individual report cards in one specific location. The Scorecard supplies data available in the respective report cards for the current month and the preceding month.

Best Execution Outside-of-the-Inside Report Card
The Best Execution Outside-of-the-Inside Report Card is a monthly status report detailing the number of transactions in which your firm participated that apparently involved a customer or a customer of another broker dealer who received a price that was outside of the inside market. 

Contra Executing Firm 20 Minute Compliance Report Card
The Contra Executing Firm 20 Minute Compliance report card (formerly known as the Executing Firm ACT Compliance Report Card and the Executing Firm NASDAQ Market Center (Compliance report card) is a monthly status report that provides information on transactions in which a firm failed, as the Contra Firm to accept / decline / compare trades within 20 minutes after execution, in apparent violation of FINRA Rules 7230A(b) and/or 7330(b). It provides information about the number of trades that were accepted / declined / compared within 20 minutes of execution along with the number of trades that were accepted / declined / compared greater than 20 minutes after execution time, as well as the percentage of those trades to total trades executed.

Contra Reporting Firm 20 Minute Compliance Report Card
The Contra Reporting Firm 20 Minute Compliance report card (formerly known as the Reporting Firm ACT Compliance report card Detail Data and the Reporting Firm NASDAQ Market Center (Compliance report card) is a monthly status report that provides information on transactions in which a firm failed, as the Contra Firm, to accept / decline / compare trades within 20 minutes after execution, in apparent violation of FINRA Rules 7230A(b) and 7330(b). It provides information about the number of trades that were accepted / declined / compared within 20 minutes of execution, along with the number of trades that were accepted / declined / compared greater than 20 minutes after execution time, as well as the percentage of those trades to total trades executed.

Executing Firm 10 Second Compliance Report Card
This monthly report card provides a status report for trades where the market participant is identified as the executing firm. The report contains counts of marked and unmarked late trades, as well as the percentage of marked and unmarked late trades to total trades reported. 

Market Order Timeliness Report Card
The Market Order Timeliness (MOT) Report Card is a monthly status report based upon data reported to OATS detailing the number of customer market orders executed by your firm in NMS securities that were delayed in receiving a full execution in possible violation of both rules regarding full and prompt execution of customer market orders and the Best Execution rule. 

Market Order Timeliness Statistical Report
The Market Order Timeliness Statistical Report is a monthly status report based upon firm-reported data detailing the number of customer market orders executed by your firm in NMS securities and classifying these orders based on time to execute. 

OATS Compliance Daily Report Card
The OATS report card will contain all daily OATS statistics for the prior month, along with industry and peer group comparisons and detail data.

OATS Compliance Monthly Report Card
This report card provides, on a monthly basis, the number and percentage of late submissions to the Order Audit Trail System (OATS), out-of-sequence events, unmatched execution reports, unmatched NASDAQ Execution System route reports, unmatched inter-firm route reports, unmatched inter-firm routes received, and unrepaired repairable rejected order events. This report card also allows users to drill down to view daily OATS information.

Reporting Firm 10 Second Compliance Report Card
This monthly report card provides a status report for trades where the market participant is identified as the reporting firm. The report contains counts of marked and unmarked late trades, as well as the percentage of marked and unmarked late trades to total trades reported. 

Reg NMS Trade Through Report Card
The Reg NMS Trade Through Report Card details the transactions in NMS securities that your firm reports to a Trade Reporting Facility or to FINRA’s Alternative Display Facility at a price that traded through at least one protected best bid or offer at execution. The report card includes a rolling six months’ worth of data, allowing firms to monitor trends of this activity over time.
